Cave Spring Cellars 2016 Dolomite Cabernet Franc

We are so proud to offer this amazing Ontario wine from Cave Spring Cellars in Niagara. A medium-bodied blend of Cabernet Franc (87%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (13%), this world-class red is rich and dry, with aromas of dark berries and warm hints of cedar, cacao, cassis, dried herbs and caramel. Why the name? It’s inspired by the dolomitic limestone rock in the soil of the Niagara Escarpment, which gives this wine its unique hints of spice, herbs and berries. Aged for 11 months in French, Hungarian and American oak barriques, it’s the perfect pairing for a hearty stew or warm bowl.

Loveblock 2017
Sauvignon Blanc

From the Loveblock Farm winery in New Zealand’s South Island, this crisp and refreshing blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Arneris, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer is the perfect mix of ripe fruit and zippy mineral acidity. Beautifully pale in the glass, it smells and tastes even better than it looks, with aromas of white peach, passionfruit and citrus and a tropical palate of pineapple, ripe stone fruits and citrus. Grown on difficult terrain and produced using organic and biodynamic farming methods, this complex and aromatic wine is a true labour of love.
